Webinar: How to make your elearning more interactive

interactive elearning Main

Elearning has so much potential to transform learning. However, what often happens is that elearning is just a content-focused, passive experience in which learners spend most of their time listening to a voiceover.

There are many reasons for this: there is a lack of great examples of what interactive learning actually looks like; stakeholders expect learning to be content-driven; common elearning authoring tools are focused on PowerPoint-like experiences; and some tools separate out content and interactive activities.

This webinar will introduce you to ideas and processes for how to make your elearning more interactive and increase the impact of the courses you create.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Using interactive scenarios and stories in elearning
  • What can elearning learn from game design beyond using scores, levels and leaderboards?
  • How the 70:20:10 model can be used to expand elearning beyond courses

The format of our webinars is a mixture of presentation and interaction. Expect to spend the session brainstorming and learning from your peers. We won’t record the live session but if you are not able to attend we will send you a separate recording and the resources afterwards.

When: Wednesday 7 February, 12.30pm – 1.30pm AEDT (Sydney/Melbourne time)
